The New Courant is committed to protecting the privacy of children. We collect the names and emails of contributors when they submit an essay, strictly for communication purposes. We only collect this information with the permission of a contributor's parent or guardian. When a contributor's essay is published on our website, they have the choice to either publish under their real name or a pen name. We never sell contributor information to third parties or allow third parties to collect contributor information.
